Backcountry Fly Fishing Trips - Matt specializes in Backcountry fly fishing trips in the Lost Sierra. Being one of six, permitted guides, on the Wild and Scenic Middle Fork Feather River he is the only guide that offers packrafting trips and true backcountry hike-in and overnight experiences. Matt is a Nols certified Wilderness First Responder and an avid backcountry adventurer!

Fly Fishing Float Trips - Matt floats all of the Middle Fork Feather River from Clio to Nelson Point, using a traditional oar raft on the upper part of the river and smaller personal packrafts to navigate the middle and lower more remote sections.

Wading Trips - Traditional wading trips are also very popular and productive for catching wild native fish on the Middle Fork of the Feather and the North Yuba River. Matt spends about 80-100 days a year on the river and knows all the best spots and where the fish are in each specific season.
